CARING FOR YOUR ARTWORK
ACRYLIC PAINTING
- Avoid hanging your piece in direct sunlight as it can damage the pigments and cause fading. UV-filtered glass helps protect artwork.
- Extreme temperature fluctuations can cause cracking and warping. Stable environments with moderate temperatures (68-75°F / 20-24°C) and humidity levels (40-50%) are your best bet for maintaining quality. When using picture lights to illuminate your painting, be mindful of how hot the bulb operates and how close it's mounted to the painting's surface. Avoid hanging your painting in spaces that regularly accumulate high humidity, such as bathrooms or kitchens.
- Check your artwork regularly for dust accumulation to avoid a thick buildup. Use a clean soft brush or microfiber cloth to gently cleanse the surface. DO NOT use cleaners, aerosols, or solvents as acrylics are sensitive to chemicals. Lightly dampen your soft brush or microfiber cloth with clean water (if needed) and performing a spot test over an inconspicuous area.
- Utilize proper packing materials when moving or transporting your artwork. Avoid touching the painted surface directly and handle with care. Never lean the canvas directly against an uneven surface as it can dent or tear the artwork. Use it's frame or stretcher bars if leaning is needed. If using bubble wrap for cushioning, avoid direct contact with the painting surface as it may leave marks.
- Consider adding a frame. Framing your new artwork can not only enhance it's appearance but also provide protection.
- For storing your acrylic painting ensure the environment is clean and dry. Avoid stacking paintings if they must lay flat and use acid-free materials to cover.
DISPLAY TIP : Rotating the artwork in your space every few months can help maintain colors as they're more evenly expose to various light sources. Plus it keeps your pad lookin' fresh!

- For storing your fine art prints ensure the environment is clean and dry.
DISPLAY TIP : Try borderless (or super thin) frames when displaying your favorite prints!
DESIGNER PLUSH
- Keep out of reach of pets and young children. Although my plush are safety tested for ages 3 and up, my designs are intended as COLLECTIBLE ART and not for child's toys.
- Aside from spot cleaning as needed for any accidental soiling of the fabric, you can use a washer and dryer to launder your plush by first placing it in a clean empty pillow case, tying off the open end, then using delicate cycle settings on your machines.
Please note for any and all art which you collect the artist will always retain copyright of the artwork. This means nobody but the artist can copy, reproduce, or photograph the work for distribution or commercial gain without prior consent of the artist.
